How to Become a Security Guard

In most cases, you will need to provide your own police background check. You may also be required to have your full driver’s license.

You can also fill roles such as armoured car guard, bodyguard, gate attendant – security house detective, night guard, postal inspection officer, preboarding security guard, private investigator, private security office.
As manufacturing jobs go to cheaper wage countries like China and East Asia, a Security Guard Jobs can be “the” out-sourcing proof job for many people with less than college education. Most states require just 8 hour training to get a Security Guard job and the pay can range from $11.00 to $13.00 and upwards.
Armed Security guards can get a much better pay also. There are hundreds of Security Guard Jobs available today in all the 50 states.
The best thing is most Security Jobs have lot of downtime which can be used for studying or training to acquire better paying jobs.
