New Chief Operating Officer Appointed at Willis College
With over a hundred years of training excellence, Ottawa’s Willis College is moving onward and upward with the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer. To spearhead the College’s strategic vision for the future, Ken Wood will now fill this position, with plenty of experience and expertise to call upon.
Ken’s involvement with Willis College began first in the role as a Business Instructor, then as the Director of Business Development. He brings to the position of COO over twenty years of industry experience in retail and investment banking at some of Canada’s largest institutions. Throughout the years, he has helped both charities and businesses realize their goals and achieve their objectives.
This wealth of experience, along with a Bachelor of Arts that Ken earned from Carleton University and an MBA he’s completing at the University of Fredericton, will enable Ken to fulfill his new responsibility of implementing strategic development for growth at Willis College, both locally and abroad.

Add to this Ken’s various designations, such as a Canadian Investment Manager, a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a Certified Financial Planner, and you’ll understand the trust Willis College has in it’s newly appointed COO.
