Campus Enhancements, New Programs Bring Great Results to KLC College

New Programs Bring Great Results to KLC College Kingston campus

Unique, program-specific study environments have brought big results to KLC College’s Kingston campus.

Campus expansions and program upgrades have brought big changes to KLC College’s Kingston campus. The school, which specializes in healthcare, business and education diploma programs, just completed a series of enhancements that are already bringing with them some big results. The most significant changes include the installation of unique, program-specific facilities that optimize the learning experience and make the transition from classroom to workplace smoother than ever. With the instalment of its brand new dental clinic, KLC College is officially marking the renovations and enhancements as complete.

“Our goal is to ensure that our graduates possess the knowledge and skills that the employers expect,” says Stephen Bartolini, director of KLC College, “and with the recent improvements we are very confident that we not only meet this objective but we exceed it.”

Students learn through hands-on applications and demonstrations in classrooms and work spaces that mimic the environments in which they’ll work upon graduation. The effects of the new surroundings and atmosphere have been significant, says Bartolini.

“The response from the College’s industry partners that host the students for the placement portions of the programs, as well as the test scores from National Exams confirm that these initiatives are showing very positive results,” he says. “Both the positive feedback from employers and the test scores show that College is definitely hitting the mark with this approach.”

Many of the college’s students are being interviewed and receiving job offers during the work placement component of their studies, before they even complete their program.

Most encouraging is the fact that KLC College has not only experienced very positive results in well-established programs like Intra-Oral Dental Assisting, Medical Administration, Personal Support Work and Physiotherapy Assistant, but also in its recent program additions in Education Assistant and Child & Youth Worker, and the newly added Web Design & Development program.

KLC College is a private career college registered under the Private Career College Act, 2005 and has campuses in Kingston, Richmond Hill and Whitby.
