Sprott Shaw College Unveils New Logo and Visual Brand
British Columbia’s oldest private career college recently got a new look. Earlier this week, Sprott Shaw College unveiled their new visual brand identity and logo.
“We want to capitalize on more than a century of delivering relevant education while bringing to life our dedication to providing a fast, focused and direct way to a new job or career while being a warm, inclusive, close-knit family,” said Karacters Design president Patrick Dang, whose company partnered with the college.
“Most of all, we want to show that we offer credible, relevant and respected education delivered in a modern way and that we are not slow moving and bureaucratic.”
The college has been a fixture of BC’s education sector since 1903. They’ve seen a number of changes over the years. These latest changes includes dropping “community” from the name Sprott-Shaw Community College. They have also adopted the slogan “Learning with purpose since 1903.”
“We are focusing on the journey and the destination,” said Dang.
“We are providing an option that is different from those offered by both public and private colleges.”
The new brand will be seen on campus, on their website and in future advertising.
