Yorkville University Launches an Online Bachelor of Business Administration Degree

Fredericton’s Yorkville University will be offering a new Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, giving students the chance to study online.
Lieutenant-Governor in Council, Graydon Nicholas, recently granted Yorkville University consent to offer the program and they are already accepting applications.
“The Yorkville BBA is designed, from admissions through to graduation, to allow working adult learners to build their education from diploma to degree without having to sacrifice career or family,” said John Crossley, PhD, Vice President of Academic at Yorkville University:
“This is something few other BBA programs do.”
Part of the program’s appeal is the innovative admissions policies that recognize previous study. The BBA is designed for students who have graduated from a two or three year diploma or a degree in any discipline. Graduates of degree programs or business diplomas may receive additional transfer credits and complete the program in even less time.
“The model at Yorkville University reflects what adult learners want – real world experience that prepares students for employment.” said the Dean of Business, Wiktor Askanas, PhD.
“The school offers a highly interactive online learning community, where students learn not only from instructors but also from each other.”
Classes will begin in the fall of 2012.
