VanArts Presents a Masterclass in Animation and Story Development
If you want to break into the animation industry, you might want to listen to what the people at Pixar have to say.
This fall, VanArts is proud to present a Masterclass in Animation & Story Development, featuring instructors Matthew Luhn (Head of Story) and Andrew Gordon (Animator), both from the animation giant Pixar Animation Studios.
Matthew Luhn has established himself by working on such TV shows as The Simpsons, and films like Toy Story 3, Up, Cars, Monsters, Inc., as well as Toy Story 2 and Toy Story. Meanwhile, Andrew Gordon’s film credits include animation work on films like Ratatouille, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles.
“This exceptional 2-day class offers participants an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to learn from the industry’s top talent,” according to the school’s blog.
“It provides you with the tools needed to help create your own stories and feature-quality animation, plus offers a great opportunity to meet and network with others in the industry.”
The events will take place in Vancouver, BC on September 28th and 29th. This class has toured the world, with this being one of only five North American stops in 2012. There are also classes in Toronto, starting July 27th.
