triOS College Named Business of the Year
triOS College has been honoured by being named as the Mississauga Board of Trade’s (MBOT) Large Business of the Year.
“We are thrilled to be the winner of this prestigious award,” said triOS College president, Stuart Bentley.
“For over 19 years, we have changed the lives of thousands of students by giving them the knowledge and skills to start new careers. It is wonderful to be recognized for the efforts that go into the selection and training of employees, continual focus on campus upgrades, positive presence in the community, constantly improving curriculum, and a dedicated career services team who find jobs for our graduates.”
The Canadian-owned company has been in operation since 1992, when they built their first campus in Mississauga. They have since expanded their operation to include nine campuses across southern Ontario, which include Windsor, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Scarborough and Oshawa. Officials say there are plans to add even more cities to their roster.
The Mississauga campus graduates about 400 students each year, and employs 82 staff members. Some of the most popular programs at the Mississauga campus are Video Game Design and Development, Supply Chain and Logistics, Network Engineer and Community Services Worker.
