CDI College To Host Bullying Prevention Workshop

Bullying prevention is a critical issue that all our communities face.
CDI College is hosting an iEngage Bullying Prevention workshop at its Mississauga campus on June 5, 2013. The workshop will feature a range of topics, from bullying prevention strategies to online safety, all presented in a compelling and interactive format.
iEngage founder and motivational speaker Anthony McLean will lead the workshop. A former actor and CBC Television host, McLean now uses his skills to empower students to take a stand against bullying.
“Bullying prevention is a critical issue that our communities face and everyone must be part of the solution,” says Larry Heinzlmeir, VP of Marketing. “CDI College is honoured to host Anthony McLean and we’re glad that we can help spread his message.”
The iEngage strategy is to give students, parents and teachers the skills and knowledge they need to create a safe, supportive and inclusive climate in their schools and communities. Anyone who wants to find new strategies for preventing bullying is encouraged to attend the workshop.
The iEngage Bullying Prevention workshop will take place at CDI College in Mississauga on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 12:00-1:00pm. The session is open to the general public and admission is free.
