VanArts Sits in Sixth Place in Animation Schools Ranking
Vancouver Institute of Media Arts has placed sixth out of the top 100 animation schools in the world, according to Animation Career Review. An educational leader in the industry, the school is climbing higher and higher since its 2012 eleventh place ranking.
The placement was based on criteria such as overall quality of programs and student reels, industry reputation, geographic advantages, tuition and overall costs to attend. Out of 100 animation, gaming and design schools, VanArts’ one-year diploma programs withstand the toughest scrutiny, even when compared with top universities and 4-year degree courses.
While it’s not the cheapest tuition option, the old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ applies with VanArts, especially if you want to see your name coming soon to a theatre near you. With graduates contributing to big screen productions, you’ll be able to realize your dreams of working in the booming animation field.
Whether your aspirations involve a career in the gaming industry or doing fancy VFX graphics in the film industry, VanArts can help you reach your goals with their one-year programs in 2D/3D Character Animation, Game Art & Design, or Visual Effects.
