Medix School Offers Abel-Dent Certificate Course

Medix School is offering new training on one of the dental industry’s most popular software tools, Abel-Dent.

The courses begin on October 20th and will teach students fundamentals such as:

• Initial set up of Abel-Dent and entering office staff information
• Completing Patient Files
• Entering Insurance information for patients
• Setting up daily schedules and booking treatment
• Billing patients for services rendered

“The objective of the Abel Dent course is to gain an understanding of the dental software through competencies in setting up offices, scheduling, patient file information, office staff information estimates and billing treatment,” said Medix School’s website.

“Students will also gain knowledge of commonly used dental terms.”

ABELDent Inc. began providing Canadian dentists with practice management solutions in 1984. Today, they are expanding their offerings to keep up with the dental industry, with tools like ABELDent Mobile, which allows you to access information from ABELDent on your smartphone or tablet. Users can view their appointments, contact patient or colleagues and more.
