The Harris Institute Named Top Media Art School

The Harris Institute is proud to announce they have been honoured as Canada’s top media arts school. Jim Lamarche posted his ‘Final Report Card on Media Arts Education in Canada.’ Lamarche gave the music school an overall grade of A+ and said, “Harris gets top marks and all indicators now show it is in fact, the best school of its kind in Canada. Highly recommended.”
He released the rankings earlier this month after completing a survey of graduates from Canada’s leading media arts schools.
He added, “Graduates from Harris indicated the highest satisfaction rate and had the most positive reviews of all the schools reporting. It’s truly unique – humble and yet a powerful little institution giving it the edge”.
Lamarche has also called the Harris Institute’s Arts Management Program (AMP), “the best of its kind in Canada. I would recommend it hands down over any other school.”
Since his blog was founded in 2007, he has used it to shine a spotlight on the misconceptions surrounding media arts education and to expose some of the myths that schools project to boost enrollment.
