The College Student Alliance Offers $1,000 Scholarships

The College Student Alliance (CSA) Board of Directors are now accepting applications for their third annual CSA Leadership Scholarship.

The scholarship will reward 15 students across Ontario who demonstrate leadership work on campus and in their community. Winners will each receive a certificate, a letter of recognition, and a financial award of $1,000.00.

“This is an incredible opportunity for 15 student leaders across the province to be acknowledged for the dedication to their communities,” said Ciara Byrne, President of the College Student Alliance.

“Last year we had an incredible response from each college with over 300 applications. This year, we hope to see more students apply due to the increased promotion that CSA and member student associations are carrying out.”

To win, college students must:

• Have been accepted to or are continuing, without failures in a full-time post-secondary program at a CSA member college
• Demonstrate leadership and good citizenship to their college and community
• Motivate others
• Be in good academic standing with an overall average of 75% or above

“We are thrilled to open applications to this scholarship for deserving student leaders across the province,” said Jamie Palahnuk, Member Support Manager.

“There are so many praiseworthy students who will benefit from this scholarship, and we are optimistic that we will have a great response before the December 7th deadline.”
