College and University Students Compete in Naked Art Competition
The female form was on full display as some Canadian art students competed in Schick Quattro’s Bodies of Art competition.
Competitors were challenged to create a work of art, using the naked female form and mixed multimedia. Each of the students selected received studio time with a professional model and funding to create their design. Winners will also have their final art shot by photographer Kint Quon and a videographer.
“Bodies of Art was born from our belief that style begins before you get dressed – and what better way to showcase this than by working with talented art and design students to create something that’s truly unique,” says Greg Crisp, Brand Manager, Schick Canada.
The winning artists are:
- Christel Scott – OCAD University
- Colin Davis – Sheridan College
- Long Gao – OCAD University
- Mandy Yu – York University
- Maricar Nacario – George Brown College
- Niloo Inalouei – OCAD University
- Shannon Skura – Seneca College
- Sophie Whitely – Seneca College
“We were amazed by the artists’ talent, the creativity of all the submissions and the amazing designs brought to life by the winning students.”
