Brighton College Launches Video Battle Contest
British Columbia’s Brighton College wants you to imagine your dream job. Now film it.
Brighton College recently launched their “Video Battle” contest, asking young people to shoot and upload a video about a day in their life, while working at their dream job.
“Brighton College is offering the chance to win one of three great prizes. Including the first place prize of $10k in tuition and other additional prizes,” said Brighton’s website.
“To enter the competition, create and submit a short video showing us a day in the life of your dream job, demonstrating how Brighton College will get you there.”
The school asks that your submission includes:
1. A brief introduction of yourself, telling us:
- Your name.
- Where you’re from.
- What you currently do.
2. A description of your dream job, showing us:
- Where/how you would work.
- What kind of things you would do on a daily basis.
- Your morning routine, how you would dress, a building or location you would love to work. Or what kind of people you would like to work with.
3. An explanation of how Brighton College will help you achieve your goals:
- What program you would enroll in.
- What certification you would get.
- What types of things you think you would learn.
All video entries must be received by September 3rd 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Voting on Video Entries ends September 7th at 11:59 p.m. PST.
