The Art Institute of Vancouver’s Video Game Design Program Among the Best
The Princeton Review and GamePro Media ranked The Art Institute fourth among undergrad schools, in their list “Top Schools for Video Game Design Study for 2011.”
This is the second year in a row The Art Institute of Vancouver cracked the top ten. Last year they were ranked number 6.
“Ranking in this top ten list by The Princeton Review and earning the acknowledgement of the video gaming industry’s recognized authority, GamePro magazine, are noteworthy accomplishments,” said John Mazzoni, President of The Art Institutes.
The Princeton Review surveyed 150 colleges in the United States and Canada, asking questions to gauge each school’s video game design courses based on faculty credentials and career placement.
“We salute the schools on our lists for their commitment to the field of video game design study and the innovative programs they offer,” said Robert Franek, Senior VP/Publishing at The Princeton Review.
“For students aspiring to work in this burgeoning field, and for the companies that will need their creative talents and trained skills, we hope this project will serve as a catalyst for many successful connections.”
