ibmIBM Canada is inviting students to their Markham Software Group (SWG) Lab, on Friday January 21st, 2011.

The all-day event is designed to showcase IBM’s work environment, while giving students a chance to ask questions.

Recruitment specialists will be on hand to field any questions about co-op/internship opportunities coming up in May. Students will also get a chance to discuss job search strategies, and submit their resumes for critique.

IMB is looking for students working towards a technical undergraduate degree (such as computer science, software engineering, engineering, information management, or IT) and are currently registered in fulltime studies.

Spots are limited, so participants will be chosen by an application process. Interested students are asked to going to ibm.com/start, then search for jobs at IBM, and then chose Student / internship opportunities. You will then be asked to submit a resume and write “WHY you would be a great IBMer.”

Successful applicants will be notified by the first week of December, and transportation to the event will be available for those in the Greater Toronto Area.

When: Friday January 21st, 2011, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Where: Markham Lab- 8200 Warden Ave, Markham
