“Graphic design has an enormous impact on culture,” said Larry Heinzlmeir, CDI College VP of Marketing.
“Businesses will always need knowledgeable and dedicated graphic designers to help them reach their audience. The Graphic Design program will equip grads with the skills they need to enter the digital media industry.”
Students will study:
- Colour theory, typography and drawing.
- Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Electronic design, web design and dynamic media
- Dreamweaver, Flash and ActionScript.
- Packaging design, corporate design and advertising design
They are currently accepting applications to study at their Toronto campus. The program is 60 weeks in length and aims to prepare students for careers in such roles as graphic artist, illustrator, layout designer, medical illustrator, advertising designer and more. They will be trained to work in environments such as graphic design firms, advertising companies or even contract work as a self-employed freelancer.
