CDI College Rocks the Party With Viral Recruitment Video

CDI Rocks the Party, symbolizes the fun, energetic spirit of CDI College campuses.

CDI College’s new recruitment video isn’t conventional, but that’s exactly what they were shooting for. The college is seeing major viral success for their video called “CDI Rocks the Party,” which features students and staff dancing to LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem.

“CDI Rocks the Party, symbolizes the fun, energetic spirit of CDI College campuses and highlights the cooperation involved by students and staff working towards a common goal,” said school officials in a media release.

While most school recruitment videos tend to show traditional shots of students walking in the hall, eating lunch together or working together on a whiteboard, CDI College went another way. Their video features staff and students dancing in computer labs, hallways and in a dental clinic.

The video also features quick gags such as students rhythmically snapping on rubber gloves and doing some Night at The Roxburry-like head bobbing to the music.

Letting their hair down was a gamble, but it has paid off. The video has already amassed nearly 500,000 views in less than a month. By comparison, Humber College’s entire YouTube channel has just over 91,000 Total Upload Views (as of today) for all of their videos, and Mohawk College has just over 49,000.
