Francophone Ontarians Gain Access to Online Learning
éduclic Ontario identified a gap in online learning for French-speaking Ontarians, and are looking to fill it.
They are now offering 3 distance learning programs for francophones in Ontario through a program run by the Coalition ontarienne de la formation des adultes.
“The coalition’s mission is to promote the importance of accessing a full selection of training in French for adults in Ontario,” said Suzanne Benoit of the Coalition ontarienne de la formation des adultes.
“We consider access to training a priority and éduclic Ontario perfectly meets that need.”
People looking to further their education and bolster their career prospects can:
- Obtain their grade 12 or equivalent in French.
- Upgrade their French language skills
- Study basic skills in math or science
- Upgrade their French computer skills.
Students who take any of the programs can get help or ask questions via MSN Messenger or Skype, or over the telephone.
“With éduclic Ontario, training is practical and accessible,” said Yolande Clément, Executive Director of Centre FORA, the Centre franco-ontarien de ressources en alphabétisation.
“All the more to serve Francophones in Ontario!”
